The non-custodial parent is usually responsible for the payment
of child support. The Texas Legislature has provided guidelines for the support
of the child based on net resources of the non-custodial parent. (i.e. 1 child
=20% of net resources; 2 children = 25% of net resources; 3 children = 30%) etc...
